Factory 2009
Het is alweer ruim een maand geleden; het European Trombone
Festival Slide Factory. Een festival om niet snel te vergeten.
Enkele feiten op een rij:
- 11.111 bezoekers
- 24 concerten & clinics
- 5 internationale tromboneklassen
zorgden voor een permanente festivalsfeer
- 11 Wereldpremières
- Toptrombonisten laten publiek genieten
- Combinatie van muziekstijlen zorgden voor afwisseling
- Bijzondere samenwerkingen, met onder andere het Rotterdams
Philharmonisch Orkest.
- Een spektakelstuk met 200 trombones
op het Schouwburgplein
- Overal trombones te horen in Rotterdam
dankzij de kwartestafette
- Een nieuw Jong Trombone Collectief
- Een week met masterclasses onder leiding van 5 masters!
- Grote steun vanuit de Gemeente, bedrijfsleven en fondsenwereld
- Op zaterdagmiddag stonden er ruim 400 trombones in de
trombone opslag

Krantenkoppen
Alle landelijke kranten hebben aandacht besteed aan het festival.
Zo kopte het AD dat de trombone best hip is en de Volkskrant
opende de kunstbijlage met een twee pagina tellend artikel
over Slide Factory.

Geef uw mening via enquête
Via mail en tijdens het festival hebben we al veel reacties op het festival mogen
ontvangen. Maar natuurlijk vinden we het belangrijk van een zo groot mogelijke
groep te horen hoe zij Slide Factory hebben ervaren. Heb je dus een onderdeel
van het festival meegemaakt, vul dan vandaag nog de korte enquête in via internet,
www.slidefactory.nl/enquete.
De resultaten vormen de input voor de organisatie
van Slide Factory 2011. Onder de mensen die de enquête invullen worden drie DVD/CD
pakketten van het Nieuw Trombone Collectief verloot.
Foto’s en DVD
Van alle concerten tijdens Slide Factory zijn professionele opnames gemaakt door een camerateam en de Concertzender. De opnames verschijnen op DVD die naar verwachting in juli uitkomt en via de site is te bestellen.

Sold-out halls during Slide Factory
Already more than one month ago lots of people enjoyed the
European Trombone Festival Slide Factory. A festival to remember.
Some facts:
- 11.111 visitors!
- 24 concerts & clinics
- 5 international trombone classes guaranteed a fantastic festival atmosphere
- 11 world premieres
- World famous trombone players amazed the public
- Perfect combinations of music styles
- A new Young Trombone Collective
- Special co operations, with for example the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra
- A music spectacle brought by 200 trombone players at the Schouwburgplein
- Sound visibility in the city with a Quartet Relay
- A week of masterclasses with 5 masters!
- Big support from the municipality, companies and private funds
- On Saturday afternoon there were more than 400 trombones
in the trombone storage (amazing)

Newspaper
All Dutch newspapers have given attention to Slide Factory.
The 'Algemeen Dagblad' said that the trombone is hip, and the
'Volkskrant' had a 3 page article about Slide Factory.

Photos and DVD
All concerts during Slide Factory were filmed by a professional camera team and
recorded by the Concertzender. All the highlights of the festial will appear
on a DVD. The DVD is expected in July and will be
available on the site.
