Volg tromboneles tijdens het festival
Neem je trombone mee naar Slide Factory en neem deel aan de workshops
op zaterdag. De docenten zijn:
Ben van Dijk en de NTC- leden Bart Claessens, Remko de Jager, Nico
Schippers en Mark Boonstra.
De workshops zijn geschikt voor deelnemers van alle niveaus en leeftijden.
Er zijn drie soorten workshops:
1. Individuele lessen
2. Ensemble coaching
3. Begeleid samenspel
Tijdens het festival kun je je inschrijven voor de workshops bij de festivalbalie. Je kunt de workshops alleen volgen als je een festival passe-partout hebt of een dagkaart.

Slide Factory 2009 biedt een zeer uitgebreid en afwisselend programma.
Al veel mensen bestelden hun passe-partout met vroegboekkorting.
Zij hebben nu toegang tot alle onderdelen van het festival, inclusief
het openingsconcert en de openbare master classes op 26 maart
2009.
Bestel je een passe-partout voor 1 maart dan betaal je
€125,- (daarna €150,-). De commerciele waarde (alle losse tickets
bij elkaar opgeteld) is €176,50. Zorg dus dat je op tijd bent
en je krijgt een flinke korting.

Inspelen met Ben van Dijk
Slide Factory begint elke festivaldag met een inspeel sessie onder
leiding van een gerenommeerde trombonist. Op zaterdag 28 maart leidt
Ben van Dijk de inspeelsessie.
Ben van Dijk is bastrombonist van het
Rotterdams Philharmonisch Orkest en bekend door zijn vele internationale
masterclasses. Hij heeft een eigen boek Ben’s Basics, waar hij ongetwijfeld
uit zal putten met zijn inspeel oefeningen. Ook is Ben workshopleider
op zaterdag 28 maart voor het onderdeel begeleid samenspelen.
Jong trombonetalent Peter Moore
ook op Slide Factory
De 12 jarige Peter Moore uit Groot Brittanië is er ook bij eind maart
in Rotterdam. Het jonge trombonetalent won de prestigieuze prijs BBC
Young Musician of the Year 2008.
Tijdens Slide Factory is hij te beluisteren tijdens
het concert van het Jong Trombone Collectief op zaterdagmiddag en tijdens
het Guest Star Recital.

Take trombone lessons during the festival
Take your trombone to Slide Factory and participate
in one of the workshops on Saturday. The workshops are given by Ben
van Dijk and members of the New Trombone Collective; Bart Claessens,
Remko de Jager, Nico Schippers and Mark Boonstra. The workshops are
suitable for participants of all levels and ages.
There are three kinds
of workshops

Accompanied ensemble
You can register for the workshop of your choice during the festival
at the festival desk. You can only attend a workshop if you have a
festival pass or a day-ticket.

Get your festival pass with discount until March 1st
Slide Factory 2009 offers an extensive and varied program. Already many people ordered their festival pass with discount. They now have access to all festival events, including the opening concert and the public master classes on March 26th and 27th.
If you order a festival pass before March 1st you pay
€125,- (after that it costs €150,-). The normal value of all festival events together is €176,50. So be sure you’re on time to get the early booking discount.

Warm-up with Ben van Dijk
Every Slide Factory day starts with a joint warm-up session. At Saturday March 28th Ben van Dijk will lead this session.
Ben is bass trombonist of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra and well known for his international master classes. He has written a book called Ben’s Basics, from which he will demonstrate exercises. Ben van Dijk is also leading the workshop accompanied ensemble playing.
Twelve years old talent attends Slide Factory
Peter Moore from Great Britain also joins Slide Factory. This young trombone player has won the prestigious prize BBC Young musician of the Year 2008.
He is playing with the Young Trombone Collective and during the Guest Stars Recital at Saturday afternoon.
