Een leuke manier om gratis toegang te krijgen voor Slide Factory
is door zelf promotie te maken voor hét trombonefestival van
Europa!
Op www.slidefactory.nl vind je flyers, persberichten,
foto’s en binnenkort ook posters. Deze kun je zelf uitprinten
en ophangen bij bijvoorbeeld je muziekvereniging of op je muziekschool.
Probeer zoveel mogelijk geïnteresseerden te bereiken. Maak vervolgens
een foto van jezelf tijdens de promotionele actie en vertel waar
het is en wat je hebt gedaan.
Degene die de meest ludieke actie
heeft ondernomen, krijgt een passe-partout. De winnaar wordt
15 maart bekend gemaakt. Stuur de actiefoto naar info@slidefactory.nl
Leden Jong Trombone Collectief

Op zaterdag 17 januari heeft de selectiedag voor het Jong Trombone
Collectief plaatsgevonden. De grootste en allerjongste talenten
van Nederland hebben een selectiedag in workshopstijl beleefd
onder leiding van enkele leden van het Nieuw Trombone Collectief.
Vervolgens zijn de meest veelbelovende trombonisten geselecteerd.
De leden zijn:
Adriaan van der Louw, Stijn Pletzers, Rommert Groenhof, Junior Huigen, Iris Tjoonk,
Lars de Bie, Marijn Migchielsen, Edwin Hoeve, Pieter van Loon,
Jurgen van Oostenbrugge, Beppie Schalken, Thom Huitema.
Het Jong Trombone Collectief is tijdens Slide Factory te horen op zaterdag 28
maart van 12.00 – 13.00 uur. |

Scorpio
Collectief brengt 17e eeuwse passie
Slide Factory is hét trombonefestival waar alle muziekgenres samenkomen.
Zo kun je op zondagmiddag van 14.00 – 15.00 uur genieten van het Scorpio
Collectief tijdens een schitterend concert oude muziek.
In de 16° en
vroege 17° eeuw kende de trombone (samen met de cornetto) een ongekende
bloei. Uit die tijd stamt dan ook een gevarieerd, virtuoos en kleurrijk
repertoire. Het Scorpio Collectief treedt in de voetsporen van Nicolo
Dalla Casa (broer van Girolamo en trombonist aan de San Marco te Venetië)
en volgen hem op een imaginaire reis door Europa.
Het Scorpio Collectief
staat voor passie, tomeloosheid, charme en gedrevenheid en werd opgericht
door trombonist Simen Van Mechelen.
Een wereldfestival
Sinds half december de verkoop van passe-partouts is
gestart, wordt het festivalthema “Meet the World” ook door de afkomst
van de bezoekers versterkt. Op dit moment verwelkomen we mensen uit Japan,
Amerika, Engeland, Letland, Venezuela, Australië, Aruba, Frankrijk, Zwitserland,
Noorwegen, Spanje, Portugal, Duitsland en Nederland.
Passe-partouts zijn
tot 1 maart 2009 met korting te bestellen. Ook is de losse kaartverkoop
gestart.

Promote
Slide Factory and win
By promoting Slide Factory yourself you could win a free pass
to the trombone festival of Europe.
At www.slidefactory.nl you’ll
find flyers, press releases and pictures. Posters will be available
soon. You can print these and hang them up at your local band
or music school. Try to reach as many interested parties as possible.
Then, take a picture of yourself during your promotional activity
and tell us what you’ve done and where.
The most original and
humorous promotional campaign will be awarded a free pass to
the festival. The winner will be announced on March 15th. Send

Members of the Young Trombone
Collective announced
The selection day for the Youth Trombone Collective was held
on Saturday January 17. The most talented and youngest trombone
players from the Netherlands participated in a day of workshops
given by members of the New Trombone collective.
The most promising
players were selected from the participants to form the Youth
Trombone Collective.
The new members are:

Scorpio
Collective brings 17th century passion
Slide factory is the trombone festival where all music styles come
together. For example, on Sunday afternoon from 14:00 to 15:00 you
can enjoy a splendid concert of ancient music given by the Scorpio
Collective.
The trombone (together with the cornetto) flourished extensively
in the 16th and early 17th centuries. A varied, virtuosic and colourful
repertoire stems from this period. The Scorpio Collective will follow
in the footsteps of Nicola Dalla Casa (Girolamo’s brother and trombonist
at the San Marco in Venice) during an imaginary trip through Europe.
The Scorpio Collective, established by Simen van Mechelen, brings unbridled
passion, charm and dynamism to its performances.
A world festival
Since the sale of festival passes started in December, the theme of the
festival “Meet the World” is also reflected in the nationalities of the
participants.
We will be welcoming people from America, England, Latvia,
Venezuela, Australia, Aruba, France, Switzerland, Norway, Spain, Portugal,
Germany and the Netherlands. Festival passes can be ordered for a reduced
price until March 1, 2009.
Individual ticket sales have also started.
